Summary

LesserEvil is an innovative, better-for-you snack brand with a passion for thoughtful design, playful branding, and purposeful storytelling. We’re looking to add a talented 3D Artist Generalist to our in-house creative team.

This position will work on-site at LesserEvil's Danbury, CT Headquarters and will report directly to the Associate Creative Director. The 3D Artist Generalist will work collaboratively across departments, primarily with marketing, to create stunning design and 3D assets that elevate the brand.

The ideal candidate is a highly creative thinker with a strong technical background in 3D animation and motion graphics, and a collaborative spirit who thrives in a fast-paced, visually driven environment.

Role/Responsibilities

  • Specialize in 3D design, animation, and rigging for brand content across social, digital, and retail channels
  • Develop animated and static 3D assets for social media, digital advertising, and general brand storytelling
  • Partner with fellow designers to bring 3D to life across marketing touchpoints, from bag mockups and plan-o-grams to animated visuals for social and video content
  • Support packaging design efforts in collaboration with our Packaging Art Director and Senior Designer by developing realistic 3D packaging renderings and product mockups
  • Assist with 3D graphic design needs, including support for retail assets, digital ads, and experiential materials (e.g., trade show booths, in-store signage, and swag)
  • Act as a resource for photo and video shoots that would need 3D elements, contributing to content creation where relevant
  • Support file prep and asset handoffs for video and design projects when needed
  • Stay current with trends and innovations in motion graphics, especially in the CPG space
  • Performing other related duties as assigned and special projects as designated.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design, Animation, Motion Media, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
  • 2+ years of experience in 3D design and motion graphics, preferred experience would be in-house or at a creative agency
  • Proficient in 3D animation software such as Blender, Cinema 4D, Maya and Z Brush
  • Skilled in Adobe Creative Suite, especially After Effects, Premiere Pro, and Photoshop
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating 3D animation, modeling, rendering, and motion design capabilities
  • Excellent collaboration, communication, and organizational skills
  • Experience creating content for digital marketing, social platforms, and advertising
  • Passion for clean, creative storytelling and the ability to translate brand values into visually compelling work
  • Positive attitude, a team-first mindset, and genuine excitement to grow within a creative-led company

Eligibility Requirements

  • Must be authorized to work in the United States
  • Must be willing to work on-site in Danbury, CT
  • Must have reliable transportation as trips between our office, warehouse, and factory may be necessary
