Job Description

We are currently hiring A&P Mechanics to join our team in Savannah, GA.

Hourly Pay: $44/hr ST, $66/hr OT

In addition to hourly pay, qualified out-of-area team members will receive $147 daily allowance for lodging, $1,029.00 max allowance per week.

As an A&P Mechanic, you will support new aircraft powerplant assemblies, repairs, and modifications.

• Essential A&P Mechanic duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: Perform inspections of new powerplants, prepare powerplants assemblies for installation in accordance with FAA regulations and manufacturer guidelines
• Conduct thorough inspections and diagnose aircraft systems, components, and engines to determine necessary repairs and modifications
• Keep status of Supplier-assigned task worked current
• Monitor and update their training status proactively
• Repair and replace defective parts using hand and power tools, precision measuring instruments, and testing equipment
• Perform complex repairs, installations, and modifications on airframes, engines, and systems
• Complete and maintain accurate maintenance records and reports
• Participate in ongoing training and development to stay up to date on industry advancements and regulatory changes

• Preferred Qualifications & Experience: FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) Certificate
• 3+ years’ experience in aircraft maintenance, repair, and modification
• Knowledge of aircraft systems, components, and engines
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and drawings
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening
