Job Description

About BIOKINETIX

BIOKINETIX is a leader in industrial injury prevention, partnering with companies in construction, manufacturing, logistics, utilities, and food processing to improve workforce safety and wellness. Our on-site Certified Athletic Trainers (ATCs) specialize in proactive injury prevention, early symptom intervention, and movement coaching to help reduce workplace injuries and improve employee well-being.

Position Overview

BIOKINETIX is seeking a Certified Athletic Trainer to join our team and provide on-site injury prevention services for a key client. In this role, you will work directly with employees in an industrial setting, applying your expertise in movement assessment, body mechanics, and functional training to prevent injuries before they happen. This is a unique opportunity to step out of the traditional clinical setting and make a measurable impact on workforce health and safety.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver on-site movement coaching and ergonomic education to employees in an industrial environment.
  • Implement proactive injury prevention strategies, including job-specific dynamic warm-ups and body mechanics training.
  • Provide early intervention for musculoskeletal discomfort, guiding employees through movement modifications and self-care techniques to reduce injury risk.
  • Collaborate with safety, operations, and HR teams to identify workplace risks and develop customized solutions.
  • Conduct functional assessments and movement screenings to improve workforce mobility and performance.
  • Track and report employee interactions, trends, and program effectiveness to demonstrate impact.
  • Act as a trusted health and wellness resource for employees, fostering engagement and safety awareness.

Qualifications & Skills

  • BOC Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) required.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Athletic Training, Kinesiology, or a related field.
  • State licensure (if applicable) or eligibility to obtain licensure.
  • Industrial or occupational experience is a plus, but strong clinical and movement assessment skills are key.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills to engage employees and leadership.
  • Ability to work independently on-site, collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Passion for preventative care and workplace injury reduction.

Why Join BIOKINETIX?

  • Competitive salary & benefits package
  • Consistent weekday schedule – no nights, weekends, or clinical caseloads
  • Professional growth opportunities in a rapidly growing company
  • Work in a dynamic, industrial environment where you can see the impact of your efforts
  • Be part of a team that values innovation and employee well-being
