Accounts Payable Clerk

Accounts Payable Clerk is a Full Time position, Monday - Friday, 8:30a - 5pm. The Accounts Payable Clerk is responsible for efficiently managing accounts payable processes, ensuring accurate and timely payment to vendors, and maintaining financial records.

Responsibilities:

• Reviews invoices for accuracy and completeness.
• Enters invoices into the system and sets up specific check disbursements.
• Ensures payments are made on time and accurately.
• Keeps organized and accurate back up records for future reference and audit information.
• Meets with departmental directors and managers as necessary.
• Communicates with vendors regarding invoice discrepancies or issues.
• Ensures proper sales/use tax is paid/applied.
• Preparing and mailing out the 1099s.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year of accounting or accounts payable experience.
