Position Summary:

The Children’s Place is the largest pure-play children’s retailer in North America. We sell apparel, footwear, accessories etc. in North America and Globally, in stores and online under the brand names of The Children's Place, and Gymboree.

We are hiring a Manager, Influencer Marketing and PR, a dynamic storyteller to help reshape the future our iconic brands – The Children’s Place and Gymboree.

In this role, you'll craft and execute Influencer and PR campaigns that resonate with parents and caregivers communities, driving engagement and expanding our brand's reach. Your deep understanding of social trends and media landscapes will be pivotal in building a vibrant, engaged community around our brand.

Key Accountabilities:

• Influencer Strategy & Execution

  • Build and own the influencer marketing strategy across paid and organic tiers—from mid to micro, always on to campaign-based.
  • Identify, vet, and engage influencers who align with our brand values and speak to parent/caregiver audiences.
  • Develop creative briefs that inspire authentic, scroll-stopping content across platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.
  • Partner closely with Social and Creative teams to ensure influencer content fits seamlessly into broader brand storytelling.

• PR Planning & Agency Management

  • Own the PR calendar in partnership with external agency—product launches, brand moments, events, and thought leadership.
  • Craft brand-right messaging and press narratives that generate coverage and fuel excitement.
  • Manage PR agencies to ensure flawless execution, timely reporting, and measurable results.
  • Build and maintain media relationships, from parenting press to lifestyle and fashion editors.

• Campaign Performance & Insights

  • Track and report on key KPIs: engagement, reach, earned media value, and conversion when applicable.
  • Analyze influencer and PR campaign performance to inform future partnerships and maximize ROI.
  • Champion insights on what’s resonating—and pivot fast when it’s not.

• Cultural Relevance & Trendspotting

  • Stay ahead of social, cultural, and consumer trends, especially in the parenting and kid-fashion spaces.
  • Keep the brand in the convo—proactively recommending ways to show up in the right moments with the right voices.
  • Lead seasonal and tentpole planning with timely, buzzworthy ideas that build fandom and relevance.

Qualifications:

  • Experience : 4–6 years of experience in influencer marketing and public relations, preferably in DTC and Lifestyle industries.
  • Education : A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Creative or a related field is required.
  • Skills :
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful influencer and PR campaigns.
  • Strong network of media contacts and influencer relationships.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills.
  • A keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining brand consistency.
