Starting Pay: $20.14 Position Purpose: Join our team as a Non CDL Delivery Driver, where you will be an essential part of our daily operations. In this role, you will run daily routes with multiple stops, loading and unloading packages onto hand trucks with ease. You will pick up loaded trucks from our assigned loading dock after a nightly delivery and return the empty vehicle at the end of your route. You'll also assist with loading trucks, palletizing products, and other duties as designated by your Supervisor or Manager. Primary Responsibilities: Your responsibilities will include: Efficiently running designated routes while meeting or exceeding route times. Unloading products from trailers by hand or using a hand cart and placing them in designated customer storage areas, even in challenging weather conditions. Frequently lifting, pushing, or moving products weighing between 1-75 pounds, with occasional heavier items up to 100 pounds. Verifying deliveries with customers and obtaining necessary signatures, reporting any discrepancies, and handling customer complaints professionally. Operating your vehicle safely in various traffic and weather conditions while following established company safety rules. Performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections as per Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and company policies. Education and Experience: High School diploma or GED equivalent. A minimum of one year of route delivery experience or a background driving a straight truck. Valid Driver's License required. Ability to read and understand English is essential. Skills: Strong customer relations and problem resolution skills. Proven ability to meet or exceed company productivity levels. Effective planning and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently. Proficient in communication and simple arithmetic (experience in handling money is beneficial).
