Job Title: Personal Injury Case Manager

Type: Perm

Start Date: ASAP

Location: Downtown NYC

Pay Range: $65,000 – $75,000 per year

Schedule: Monday to Friday - 9am – 6pm

Reporting To: Director of Operations / Managing Partner

Team Collaboration: Works closely with attorneys, clients, medical providers, and external vendors.

Overview

We are seeking a proactive and organized Personal Injury Case Manager to serve as a key liaison between clients, providers, and the legal team. While this is a firm-wide role supporting multiple practice areas, experience in personal injury law—especially handling medical coordination and client communication—is mandatory.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Serve as the primary client liaison, maintaining consistent and professional communication throughout the duration of each matter.
  2. Responsible for new client intakes, open files, and collect necessary information and documentation.
  3. Coordinate appointments and maintain regular contact with third parties, including medical facilities, experts, and service providers.
  4. Track and manage case-related deadlines, documents, and communications across multiple matters and practice areas.
  5. Update the legal team on case developments, treatment progress, and outstanding items.
  6. Draft basic legal correspondence and assist with document preparation.
  7. Use legal practice management software (Centerbase) to maintain accurate and organized digital case files.
  8. Translate and interpret for Spanish-speaking clients.

Qualifications

  1. Minimum 2 years of legal case management experience in a personal injury setting.
  2. Excellent communication, multitasking, and organizational skills.
  3. Strong understanding of legal workflows and ability to support attorneys across different practice areas.
  4. Knowledge of medical terminology and coordinating care.
  5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with Centerbase or similar software preferred.
  6. Bilingual (Spanish)
  7. Client-focused, dependable, and able to work both independently and collaboratively.
