Job Description

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Retail Fulfillment and Operations Manager to join our team at Arrae. Experience in retail order fulfillment and logistics is required to support our growing retail business and monitor retail inventory levels. You will play a critical role in the success of orders are accurately shipped on time, and fully compliant with retailer requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Order Management & Fulfillment:
  • Manage and process retailer purchase orders (POs) from receipt through delivery, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Maintain organized and up-to-date records of all active POs, including their current status, required next steps, and key deadlines.
  • Retailer Compliance & Documentation:
  • Collaborate with the warehouse team to ensure all shipments comply with retailer-specific routing guides, and packaging and labeling requirements.
  • Work with EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) systems to submit necessary order details and documentation to our warehouses and various retailers. 
  • Inventory Coordination:
  • Monitor stock levels and coordinate with inventory teams to ensure product is available and prepared for retail PO fulfilment.
  • Flag potential inventory issues or delays and work cross-functionally to resolve them proactively.
  • Shipping & Logistics:
  • Coordinate all outbound shipments, including freight, parcel, and collect, to meet retailer delivery windows.
  • Submit and manage routing requests through retailer portals or EDI systems, ensuring timely carrier assignments and pickup scheduling.
  • Communicate with carriers and retail partners to confirm pickups, track shipments, and resolve any transit or scheduling issues proactively.
  • Retailer Account Support:
  • Evaluate the feasibility of order fulfilment in accordance with the proposed timelines and request any necessary PO adjustments.
  • Track order fulfillment and shipment status and communicate any potential delays with the retail team.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in retail order fulfillment or logistics, preferably with high-volume retailers.
  • Deep understanding of the fulfillment requirements and compliance protocols for major retailers (e.g., Amazon, Walmart, Target, Costco, etc.).
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with EDI systems is highly preferred.
