- Sign-On Bonus $7,500 (for eligible applicants)
- Could float betweeen Barnes-Jewish St. Peters & Progress West Hospital
- 40 Hours Per Week
- Monday thru Friday
- Call Rotation Required (1 week every 4-6 weeks)
- Holiday Rotation Required (call coverage)
Overview
Barnes-Jewish St. Peters Hospital proudly serves the health care needs of families in St. Charles, Lincoln and Warren counties. The 102-bed community hospital provides comprehensive inpatient and outpatient services including the Siteman Cancer Center at Barnes-Jewish St. Peters Hospital, the Breast Health and Women’s Center, the Cardiology Center, the Neurosurgery Center and the Outpatient Surgery and Endoscopy Center. Barnes-Jewish St. Peters Hospital is an Accredited Chest Pain Center and carries a Level II stroke certification. Additionally, the hospital’s medical office building houses offices for specialists in primary care, cardiology, obstetrics, dermatology, surgery and pulmonology. Barnes-Jewish St. Peters Hospital also offers outpatient services including physical therapy, a sleep lab, and cardio-pulmonary rehabilitation. At Barnes-Jewish St Peters Hospital, every decision is made in the best interest of patients and families. EKG services are provided to both inpatient's and outpatient's and to both Cardiac and Neorology patients.
Preferred Qualifications
Role Purpose Performs a variety of cardiac testing, including treadmill stress testing, holter monitoring, transthoracic echocardiography, transesophageal echo, stress echo and cardiac doppler. Functions as lead and resource for other sonographers/staff in the Cardiac Diagnostic Lab. Assists manager with the coordination of activities within the lab, assists with training of new employees and credentialing requirements of other staff.
Responsibilities Performs tests and procedures at various locations.
Functions as lead by maintaining credentials, handling quality assurance activities, and auditing cases.
Minimum Requirements Education High School Diploma or GED - Sonography
Experience 2-5 years
Supervisor Experience No Experience
Licenses & Certifications RDCS or equiv
Preferred Requirements Education Associate's Degree - Allied Health/Sonography
Experience 5-10 years
Supervisor Experience < 2 years
Licenses & Certifications Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation
