Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Weekly Breakdown:
Weekly Gross: $3,783.00 Per Week
On W2(Taxable): $1,480.00 Per Week
Stipend(Non-Taxable): $2,303.00 Per Week
Job Summary: we are looking for 2 years min experience as an Educator with a background in ED/ICU. We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable RN - Nurse Educator to join the Nursing Inservice Education department at Harlem Hospital Center. This role involves educating and training nursing staff with a focus on improving clinical practices and supporting professional development. The ideal candidate will possess a solid med/surg background and a strong commitment to clinical excellence.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Plan, develop, and deliver educational programs and inservices for nursing staff.
Serve as a clinical resource and mentor to nursing staff.
Collaborate with department leadership to identify training needs and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Evaluate educational outcomes and implement improvements as necessary.
Ensure that clinical practices are aligned with current evidence-based standards.
Required Experience & Skills:
Minimum 2 years of medical/surgical nursing experience
Strong clinical foundation with proven expertise in nursing best practices
Excellent communication and teaching skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Education & Certifications:
Valid New York State Registered Nurse License (Primary Source Verification required)
AHA BLS Certification (American Heart Association – Basic Life Support)
