The HR Talent Acquisition Specialist is a partner to the HR Team and is a key strategic team member who collaborates with executives and leaders across the organization to drive business success through people strategies. As a trusted source in Recruitment Strategies - the TA Specialist will leverage deep HR expertise and business acumen to develop and execute recruitment and retention strategies that align with the company's goals, improve organizational performance, and foster a culture of excellence. This role is integral to achieving business objectives in a fast-paced, global logistics environment.

Responsibilities -

  • Post and manage job listings across job boards and social media platforms.
  • Review incoming resumes and conduct initial screenings for entry-level and mid-level positions.
  • Schedule and coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring teams.
  • Communicate with candidates throughout the hiring process to ensure a positive experience.
  • Maintain and update our applicant tracking system (ATS) with candidate information and recruitment status.
  • Assist with hiring reports, metrics tracking, and recruitment analytics.
  • Support career fairs, hiring events, and campus recruitment activities as needed.
  • Collaborate with HR and hiring managers to understand staffing needs and recruitment priorities.
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies and employment laws during the hiring process.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Understanding of Recruitment processes and HR principles is a must
  • Knowledge of federal state and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Customer service mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, including Office 365, or related software.
  • 2 Years of recruitment experience - preferably in a manufacturing or logistics environment
  • 2 Yrs of full TA lifecycle management experience preferred
  • Strong Customer Service skills
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced high energy work environment with adaptability and flexibility
  • Exceptional follow-up and organizational habits.
  • Ability to remain calm and efficient under pressure or tight deadlines.
  • Comfortable learning new technology platforms quickly.
  • Proficiency with, or the ability to quickly learn the organization’s HRIS and talent management systems. Paylocity experience is a bonus
